Pleureuses 

The homeless people in the streets of New York inspired me during my residency at SVA*. They seemed to witness without being seen, observers of our daily lives. They were ignored as if they belonged to the urban landscape. Camouflaged into the buildings and sidewalks.

The sculptures have an unsettling aspect, but when approached, the viewer can see a landscape emerging from the inside of these silhouettes.
